I tried changing an NZ ticket to VA earn. The NZ agent assured me it was done and I asked for another BP but she said it would print out an NZ number still but would accrue to VA. That didn't sound right and I thought "what proof would I have to give VA that points were meant to accrue to them?"

Anyway I once saw a step by step instructions to give to agents on how to switch the FF numbers successfully but can't recall which thread it was in and was wondering if anyone else can remember??

mad_atta I'm thinking about trying your method of calling reservations prior and I guess hoping the change will show up on the boarding pass. And if it doesn't show up and the lounge agent can't do it I'll maybe call NZ again to give the agents instructions.

I can afford this last mistake but not a lot of others.
