What may be skewing the stats in this regard is the presence of DYKWIA's who lose it over missing their UG and get unruly on-board. "But I am a GOLD member!! I should be upfront!!"..followed by swearing, threats, poach attempts and finally police. In a single class cabin this doesn't happen. In that case, F class..or not being in it..is certainly the cause.

I also think that air rage is more likely on long-haul intl' for all the normal reasons plus more hours, but these flights usually has a first class cabin. Remember, correlation is not causation.

The only rage I have I have seen from a regular pax in regards to F was actually in the TSA line. At 5am, before TSA opened the line was forming. As I was in F, I got in the F line and was taken first when TSA opened. A guy was outraged by this and began ranting loudly about how this shouldn't be allowed. My response of "If you want this service, pay for this service" was meet with profanity on his part.
