F. The Beach

The hotel has it's "own" beach, though I don't think it's a fully private beach. It has the usual water sports (see attached list, in Japanese). Sand is yellow softish sand which they groom daily. It is however, not the famous Okinawan star-sand - that you have to buy in the hotel gift shop. Very few loungers and those I saw were on the lawn just outside the beach. Perhaps all kept away because of the refurbishment.

Water is crystal clear and past the breakwaters there are actually quite a few tropical fish. But there are signs saying no snorkelling there. ???

The beach is enclosed by breakwaters and seawalls - pardon me if I'm using the wrong terms but I'm not a sailing person. At one end is the marina and as you can see from my photos it wasn't sunny. I want my money back :P
