I was in the same dilema. I priced out tix LHR-CGD at 12 punds...adding in the taxes it came to about $40 US. Add in the hassel of getting to airports, checking in, baggage and stuff and it can be time consuming.

I ended up booking a one-way tix on eurostar for $45 (i am under 26 y/o) so it was cheap for me. I heard if you dont need to be there in a rush, might as well enjoy the countryside.
