I've loved reading through the thread and hearing about all of your most recent adventures.
This year has been a bit strange for me since my rotational job in Yemen became a mess thanks to the low price of oil and war. To make things worse, my Spanish girlfriend took a teaching job in West Texas so I've been trapped visiting her in Texas (though we've done some pretty cool road trips to the National & State Parks in the southern US.
The only good thing is I've found the time to finally work on my blog and nail down the layout and design. Now I need to get more content up and update my old content to make it more enjoyable for others (I had written old posts as a personal journal rather than for others).
I still managed to get away for ~5 months to visit most of Central America and the Caribbean and my 193+3 tally is up to 105 (Colombia was my 100th) and my TCC count is up to 146.
This summer I plan to go to Spain with my girlfriend, hopefully visit a travel blogger friend in Mallorca, hike around Lyseforden, hike around Faroe Islands for a week, then fly up to to Svalbard for 4 nights.
I still haven't traveled South America much so the most exciting news is my gf took a teaching job in Medellin, Colombia. My plan is to study Spanish for the year and explore more of Colombia (I love the people and the country). Hopefully I can also get to Ecuador and Venezuela while I'm there but I expect to try and really sink my teeth into Medellin and get my Spanish down before taking off with my backpack too much.
