So I checked BA.com this morning and on the way out (30th March) they are now showing quite a number of other non BA flights, but on the return trip 13th (April) there are only 2 BA fights showing. In fact there are no non BA options on return flights from 31st March onwards, it would seem more than coincidental that this is when the Easter holidays commence in earnest? I would be keen to hear from anyone who has insight on this subject.
Normally flights are open for booking 330 days in advance, so it might be the system just getting everything loaded. It's also very likely for there to be minor changes in scheduling as those schedules won't be finalized until next fall/winter. Sometimes this can affect a layover's viability so you want to stay on top of that but they will change you at no cost if that happens. (may even be able to get onto a direct service at no extra cost in that case)
