My point is that we've all heard about the over-kill. We're supposed to believe that if the NoS is so sensitive it freaks out about pleats and sweat on bare skin, it's guaranteed to catch something nefarious.

This is the first time I recall reading about a machine so badly calibrated that it was missing significant anomalies like a fake weapon/explosive device attached to someone's body.
