I am flying IAD-LAX on AA and am seated in the first class cabin. My booking code is P, but my fare basis code is SA21ZNY1/WAUP. Doesn't this mean it's an S fare that seats into P class? I'm skeptical that BA will award tier points for P (210 TP) and will instead give me TPs for an S fare (20 TP).

Have any of you experienced this, and if so, how many TP's did you end up with?

Thanks!!
Welcome to BA, hope the change will be worth it (it was for me). It's always code, not basis, so 210 it is.
