I think I'll leave it as KLM treats you as scum if you don't fly business class. No matter what I seem to do the economy class tickets seem to come in at 25% or 50%.

I thought it was price based to a degree, that appears not to be the case on my last flight out UK to china where the outbound part of was 25%. In a climate where companies cannot afford to be frivolous for a flight that has the exact same outcome as a cheaper one, it's pretty difficult to justify a higher fare class.
