Hotel Vertigo, Dijon, France, Design Hotel [Master Thread]

Had a 1 night stay at the Vertigo in Dijon. Think of this place as a mini W. Everything is indeed very W-ish, except perhaps the staff which were very nice and relaxed and not trying too hard to show what a good time they are having.

Also, many things about this place are small, the rooms, the elevator, the spa, the bar, and also the hotel overall. It's not a problem per se, but some people may have an issue.

We had the sublime twin room and they would let us use it to stay with the kids without an issue. The beds are about queen size, I'd guess 140cm. They only had foam pillows which were a little to big for us. A little welcome amenity was waiting in the room.

The spa is very nice but really small, there were about 6 other guests and it felt crowded. It's probably best to avoid the 5-7pm window.

We did not have breakfast, but the bar doubles as a lounge during the day with some nice seating, computers, amd free candy. There is a DJ in the evenings, so it could be a good place to enjoy drinks (we were on the 3rd floor and did not hear any music).

Parking is 15 Euros.

For those who are into fine dining, we had a brilliant meal at Maison de Cariatides in Dijon.
