I usually use the 7 day T/C but bought the carnets this time and saved a few bucks. When I needed to go outside Zone 1 (actually not too often) I bought a proper zone RT ticket.

Please note carnet tickets are good for 1 year, are transferable and are good before 0930 AM too. Nice deal.
