Take the number 15 bus from Oxford Circus to Tower Bridge for a bargain site seeing tour. Also the number 11 is good as is the 38.</font>
I used to live on route 38. From Wood Green in the N, to Putney and kensington via Oxford St, Park Lane, Royal Albert Hall, Exhibition Rd - aarrgg..... I need my London fix.
I never take tubes - buses or my trusty bicycle. From my apartment in Islington to Piccadilly Circus in 22 mins. (Faster than the bus) I got knocked over by a cab one time, sued and got the exact amount of my daughters law school fees.

Oh, back on topic - always buy the Zones 1 and 2 weekly travel card.....unless you just have to go to Kew or Hampton Court.
