We were afraid to drive so we had a guide take us in his car from London to Salisbury/Stonehenge/ Bath on one outing and to the Cotswolds villages on another. Both outings were delightful. If we were brave enough to drive we would definitely make a 2-3 day sojourn to these parts. Also, if you are driving, see Leeds Castle, southeast of London, a fairytale spot in a lake.
