Use gcmap.com to calculate distance and then lookup on chart.

JAL allows up to 7 stopovers and one open jaw
For distance-based award charts, optimize by getting at the top end of one of the distance tiers. i.e., JFK-DXB-BKK round trip is just under 20,000 flown miles, so it's 155k for an F award, while going over 20,000 flown miles would be 200k.
With JAL you have to include the surface sector in the distance calculation if you do an open jaw. For example, JFK-DXB-SIN//DEL-DXB-JFK is 18,689 flown miles, but you have to include the surface sector (the piece you're not flying as part of the itinerary) of SIN-DEL, so the total distance is 21,268 miles, so the price is 200k miles in F.
