Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?
I booked basic room in January through third party conference organizer.
Same type of room on the mid-level floor. They said it's an upgrade but not sure as my friend who booked same room without any IHG status got a room larger than mine on higher floors.

How are the rooms?
Very small. But the amenities were good enough.

How is the exec. lounge?
Been offered lounge access for $50 per night.
It was OK. Liked it that they offered something to have during lunch time (soups).

What was good and what was bad?
Didn't have WSJ.
Some staffs are rude.

Value for $ or Priority Club Points? Would you return?[/QUOTE]
I will not return. In fact, my second visit to SF this year, I changed all my stays to Hiltons, which treated me better for a mere Hilton Gold.
