I know it could sound good in theory but can get awry in practice (a pax can leave 1 cent tip just to improve his/her pax rating), but it is something I thought about. Who knows? Some conscientious/kind pax may leave large tips to balance things out?
Pretty good idea ^
Regardless of whether the tips are anonymous or paid weekly or whatever, there needs to be a tipping mechanism added to the app if tips will become the norm. A system just like Lyft's would be perfect. We can be expected to have local currency for the sole purpose of tipping; it defeats the whole "do everything from the app" experience.
