Last month daily rate for Pullman CDG was 84 euro and you can use the room
from 9 am till 6 pm
Also ibis 100 m from pullman had hourly rate from 14 euro with min 2 hours use if i remember correctly.
Maybe in the summer when the rate are higher will make more sense.
I understand how you react (and I first reacted like you), but several things to consider :
- if you just need a room for a very short time to shower and have a quick nap, you don't book a room in hotel including the night time
- if you think about where the costs are for the hotel : they lay with all the housekeeping costs (staff + towels/bed sheets cleaning).
So if you use the bathroom and the bed, it's not surprising to pay €65 for a room normally sold at €90 or 100.
