This is one where I'd wager that the FT consensus would be to call. First ask for an extension outright. Many of us are discovering we've gotten spontaneous extensions of current status. You haven't, but this is context for how soft they might be. Second, bring up any status you have in other programs. Then/Or ask for a challenge. Finally, if you don't get any love, you likely got a soft landing to Gold - not a bad consolation compared to Diamond ... though we are beginning to see some privileges trimmed without announcement. Actually, finally, call again. They really are softer than they've been in a while.
