I have the amex platinum for my business and conduct frequent business travel. I’m also trying to get elite status on AA and have a red aviatorcard but planning to upgrade to silver for EQM benefits. I’m wondering though if I should always use my aviator card for travel even if it’s for business trips and just expense it to the business when I travel? I know the platinum card offers some benefits for booking travel through them but not sure if it’s better or worse than the benefits I’d get by using an airline card instead?
