Is it $2 per bag or $5 per bag? Is my $10 for 3-4 bags (usually two sets of golf clubs included) cheap, lavish, or just right? Assume you aren't asking him to waive any fees the airline would have charged you (overweight, extra bag, etc.).

FWIW, I've always heard $2 per bag for a normal check-in at the curb.
