DW has the regular Aviator card, and the AF had come due. Called and told the CSR that she has a Citi AA card with the same benefits. She said Citi was waiving the fee on that card, so it made no sense to pay for the Aviator. CSR offered to downgrade to a no fee card, but DW declined the offer. Put on hold for awhile, eventually told no offers available. Thought that was it, but transferred to Retention to cancel. Retention immediately offered to waive the entire fee, with no strings attached. Kept the card open.....
