Will the Junior Suite with a view make up for the deficiencies of the hotel? We are so excited for this trip and do not want to be worrying about the hotel. Thank you in advance!
We did a week earlier this month in a Junior Suite with Eiffel Tower view on the top floor, and we were *very* happy with the room. Granted, it wasn't *huge* (it is, after all, a *junior* suite), but it was very nice with a sitting area, a large walk-in closet, four (yes four) other closets, vaulted ceilings, and two small balconies. The view was quite nice, looking over Le Jardain des Tuileries, with the Musee d'Orsay across the way, the Eiffel Tower off in the (not too far) distance, la Place de la Concorde, the Louvre, and notable Paris landmarks visible from the balconies.
And while others have noted that the hotel perhaps feels a little tired, honestly, I didn't get that feeling at all. I found it quite lovely, with very friendly and accommodating staff. We were even given an escort to our room (with a mini-tour of the property) by one of the managers upon checking into the hotel.
All in all, next time I visit Paris, I would definitely stay at the Westin again.
