Not every Uber driver, but enough do that I always tip. Even with the tip, it's still cheaper and more reliable than a taxi so it's still a win-win for me and the driver.
Well, must be my delightful personality and striking good looks, 'cause I've never tipped an Uber driver and my passenger rating is 4.86. Maybe a regional thing, possibly, but no way the statement "
every Uber driver considers you a cheapskate if you don't tip and gives you a lower rating just because of that" remotely resembles a factual statement.
