I booked a wrong date and I called in, got rebooked on the flight I want with no change fee.

I was told the threshold for change is within 24 hours. This wed with two different agents. Called once got this info, called again later to correct it to the flight I was sure I was suppose to book.

This is through AA which has the hold in lieu of the 24 hour refund policy.
