R/T taxes higher than 2 O/W?
I apologize if that's been asked before.
Looking a BA award in C for NYC-LON.
On a R/T - taxes and fees are $1150.
On 2 O/Ws, taxes and fees are $441+478, $200 less.

I could book 2 O/Ws, but I was hoping to use my companion voucher.

Is there a way to use the voucher for the R/T but get lower O/W taxes?
