I don't remember there being a staffed customer service desk in SFO along the lines of the one at ATL E but I've never really looked for one either. But you will almost certainly arrive in the gate 40-47 arm and it's not all that big. (The diagram is crude, it's not connected to B airside)

I'd start with the agent at the gate when you deplane.
