Called yesterday for AA World Elite MasterCard to see if could get some retention offer, mentioned "Close account" to automated system and automated system just closed the account, without any rep coming on phone!

Was a bit surprised, as card got closed without even talking to rep. System did ask for confirmation, but I thought it was confirmation before it transfers to a rep.
