That was my original concern. Last week this happened to me as well...I happen to notice someone had "Platinum" tags and sat in first class. My first instinct was that they screwed up the upgrades...I then thought the Platinum person might have paid for his upgrade (when checking in it gave me an option to upgrade for 199 bucks in which I declined).
