One hour from SVQ in which direction? If anywhere northeast along the E-5 corridor, you might be better off having your hosts drive you to Cordoba and taking the AVE from there. Overnighting in Madrid is gonna be a much more pleasant and relaxing option than a dumpy hotel near SVQ followed by an oh-dark-thirty wake-up call.
