What I know for sure is that at EXACTLY 5am the prices on 2 or more tickets suddenly went up to the same price as 1 ticket. I ended up buying 6 tickets to Europe (4 to Budapest, 2 to Prague) in September and saved over $2000. The minute 5am hit, only the more expensive ticket/fare class was available.

One thing interesting about this is that since they made lower fare classes available, that made it possible to use companion and Skybonus ticket vouchers on routes that previously would not have have a valid fare class. I used two Skybonus vouchers on a route that at 5am wouldn't accept them anymore.

Guess I just got lucky that I was up all night. I'm going to try again tonight and see what happens.
