I called back yesterday and the CS agent is telling me that my request
is not in the system. How can that be ? I have had 3 email exchanges
with AA CS and 1 previous phone call that confirmed that the request
was sent to BA. I resent the thread back to them. The phone agent
told me that the email conversation is not something she
can see (???)...why not ? In the previous phone call he could see
my responses.
Very frustrating...AA is finger-pointing to BA while I think that AA's
IT systems are partly to blame. (My interaction with CS yesterday
are indicative of the issues)
If this is how they take care of EXP issues, I am not sure how others
fare ?

Just an update...after almost 5 months of follow-up, my BA miles were
posted to account ! The AA agent was extremely professional about this,
understood the problem, knew where to look and what to do ! Promised
me that it will be resolved by them talking to BA contact and within
24 hours the miles were posted with the EXP bonus.
I did not need these miles last year for EXP re-qualification but if I did, I
would have been really pissed off at not having the status for 4 months
of the year...
