I was originally booked on AA729, which I believe was an A330, in seat 01A, the senior crew person (not got my head round all their titles) told me that the flight had changed and there was no business class available on that flight so I could either take economy on the original flight or change to the direct DFW flight. I don't fly this kind of route often so I haven't got the experience to tell what's normal and what's not, I took it at face value that the plane type had changed and the flight had no business class. Do I take it that I was bumped off my flight because someone else wanted my seat...?
