I was reading the policy documentation on this issue and it seems consistent with what is described above. If I'm travelling on two separate bookings, with a six hour connection, and I miss the second flight due to a delay on the inbound, neither UK Plat nor BA Premium Plus travel insurance will cover the cost of booking another flight? Quite surprised by this so just wanted to check my understanding is right and that's still the case?

On a related note, a quick search didn't turn up any standard policies that would fill this gap. I.e. dealing with rebooking long haul business class flights - even the policies with "missed departure" cover only include up to £1k as standard. Are there any policies people have used to fill this gap?
