I think that the OP missed "don't you know who I am?" I have to admit that I'm shocked, shocked that there are passengers in the First Class lounge!
What struck me is that every time I've seen a video tour of the Pier Lounge it's been so empty that my first thought was " how do they justify keeping that lounge open?"
I have yet to experience the Pier but I will be doing so on an award flight later this year. I'll be paying $0 for the privilege. But if it offends the OP, maybe I can arrange to vacate the lounge on that day if he's going to be there and make more space. Just trying to be helpful. Oh, I'll be using the J lounge on my trip into HKG and I really appreciate the suggestion to downsize it so the OP has more F space.
