Probably better asking that in the EI forum. However given you've already bought the ticket and have a long transfer window in there, I would just sit tight - but do keep an eye on matters both in the weeks ahead and on the day. The UK really slows down over the Christmas/New Year period so flight cancellations to account for this wouldn't be surprising to see.
