MAN must have one of the lowest % of FF as the lounge is still not very busy.

word or warning RE: MAN they have the strictest security i've encountered the same carry on bag i put through LHR/EWR regularly and goes through fine gets pulled everytime at MAN.

MAN also has a GS rep who is very nice.
+1 on the GS rep - she's awesome - her name is Julie. Known her for years...

As others pointed out yes the lounge is being refurbished and was sorely needed. The temporary lounge is small and because you are leaving on the weekend I would expect it to be busier than usual with leisure travelers - it was so packed a few weeks ago I just went to the restaurant in the terminal and had a brilliant omelette and glass of champagne for 10gbp. The omelette is literally a heart attack on a plate - but ooh it's soo gooood....
