This is probably common knowledge, but adding the data point.

I didn't make the booking, but in the same hotel on the same night, it allowed me to book past expiration using the Chase Free Night, but only showed points or money when I tried to use Accelerate Promotion Free Night. Same hotels were bookable with both within expiration.
