I will only make one reply to this as it is pretty OT, but...seriously????? You are comparing that to this? A guy getting violently assaulted and somebody getting all bent out of shape about Hyatt not going full bore security investigation on a POTENTIAL violation of the GP T&C? Get real. That is so absolutely absurd I feel stupid for even dignifying it with a response. The social fabric is unraveling because of possible violation of a hotel chain's loyalty program!!! Get out the pitchforks!!

Going back to the HYATT issue at hand...honestly, Hyatt and their member hotels regularly ignore the T&C of the GP program by manipulating suite inventory on DSUs, manipulating award availability, blocking out P&C space, charging tips on Diamond breakfast in violation of the terms, anti customer interpretation and alteration of terms on things like the BRG, etc. If Hyatt is going to spend some time and effort investigating violations of their T&C to enhance the quality of stays for its members, then I desperately want to see them look at the above, NOT waste resources on some idiotic witch hunts.
