It's not so difficult to try to spark a witch-hunt, but customer accounts shouldn't be burned -- nor even placed under suspicion of program violation -- absent concrete evidence of a serious violation. If there is concrete evidence that Hyatt can verify, then they are free to shut down accounts of customers engaged in program violations.
+1. There is a lot of detail missing here about how someone would supposedly have concrete evidence of everything they are alleging.

I have news for you...stuff like Hyatt giving out Diamond status with DSUs etcetera en masse is far more detrimental to your stay quality and program value than the isolated cases where someone sells a stay online to some stranger for profit. The incentive is not there to waste a large amount of effort on it, because frankly, it would be very hard to prove conclusively and without error...the last thing you want is to alienate or obliterate a customer and their account who spends large amounts of money and was doing something legitimate. Very high downside of affecting someone negatively, very little upside honestly.

My opinion...dismount the high horse, and mind your own business...something that is all too rare in today's society.
