I could not find this issue discussed before, but if there is/are already threads on it the mods please merge them

Just arrived from CDG to YYZ, and was told at check in in CDG that we don't have to pick up our bags in YYZ and it would go directly to YGK. I remember my daughter arriving from LHR YYZ YGK had the same experience just before Christmas

I was quite surprised and asked SD and FA, they knew nothing and promised to check with GA but later said everyone must go to retrieve their bags at YYZ to clear customs first, then to throw them on the connections belt. They asked if there were customs at YGK (there are none!) and suggested that the check in agent must have confused YGK with KIN (??)

Now more confused i asked the CBSA agent, who just scanned our boarding passes and confirmed that we don't have to pick up luggage at YYZ and go directly to YGK.

Now we are waiting at the MLL and hoping we see our bags in YGK

Anybody had any experience or information on that issue that would be helpful. FWIIW i just noticed that we have OSS printed on the boarding pass, but still had to clear security at YYZ.

Will report from YGK if our bags came!
