Anyone else have a Diamond Suite Upgrade rejected for points
+ cash rate here despite the Suite being available? Booked 7 nights here next year on P+C here and tried to use DSU to upgrade to the Family Suite which is available for the duration of the stay but was told it was not available for upgrade on P+C rate. Had Hyatt phone rep contact property directly and they would not budge but said if i booked standard rate they could apply DSU. Seems like a blatant attempt by property to exploit loophole to exclude their suites from Diamond members earned upgrades, I do not apppreciate being treated like a second class citizen due to booking with Points + Cash.
