Stayed here one night on points at the beginning of our Costa Rica visit. Location is very convenient to the airport and car rental locations (and you save a bunch by not picking up the rental car from the airport).

Junior Suite was a bargain at 25k points vs. 30k for a regular room. Not impressed with room assignment on my first stay as a Diamond - handicapped room on 3rd floor with parking lot view. On the plus side, the room was well sized and comfortable, although it's starting to show some wear and tear.

Service was great, very friendly. Diamond breakfast was full buffet, including omelet station and waffle iron! Much, much better than a domestic HGI breakfast. This place also has a way nicer pool than I've ever seen at an HGI before.

Overall a very solid choice for beginning/end of a Costa Rica visit.
