I also think Priceline is being reasonable here, but I would note that it IS risky to bid on boutique hotels in San Francisco. Even in the "north of Market" zone, some are in "unrehabilitated" areas.

My advice: even if you generally like boutique hotels (and I do), don't bid on them in SFO with priceline.
