BTW, would the same apply in F on the 777? Or might it be nicer for them to have the two middle section seats?

CX F is a 1-1-1 configuration, so no pair, but there is a (rather uncomfortable) buddy seat so they can join each other for dinner.

For F as a couple my preferences are row 1 A and 2 A, or else 2D and K
