This is a common phrase on Seat Guru about the fixed arm rest seats and that they slightly reduce width, however, I have never really noticed any difference. I actually find them a it better because it protects your personal space from someone else.

How and ever, $80 is an outrageous price to pay for more leg room. IMO it is just not worth it.
