AA 46 in particular is on time only 35% of the time with an average delay of 91 minutes. Hopefully we can all agree that's pretty awful regardless of the fact that delays happen "all the time".
If you look at the more recent statistics, this particular flight's delay percentage is much higher, and most of the delays are 3+ hours. When I looked at it a couple of weeks ago, it had left on time only 3 times in previous 3 weeks. Something is consistently and systemically wrong with this flight to the point where the schedule is bordering on false advertising.
I hope American figures out the issue with getting this flight off the ground on time.
