I would check in online as soon as possible and see what's there. If you are still stuck in middle seats, don't print/email/download your boarding passes at the end of OLCI.

Then keep coming back and checking if anything else has opened up. You'll be able to change seats if it has, as long as you haven't accepted the boarding pass in some form.
