This also looks very relevant, If it was not your seat that was not working. then the records on Ipad may well be against the seat in front of you.
It may be worth clarifying to BA exactly how this effected you. on a short night flight if they woke you 3 times to do this, then that would be very different to looking at it 3 times before pushback for example
