Could also be for SGD transactions charged processed outside Singapore - though afaik (& this was a while back), that was an issue with Mastercard, not Visa.
wow, I recently also got charge with all these CCY conversion fees on my citibank rewards mc.
strange enough, I've purchased lot of things from those merchants and never charged with these.
is it new/common now for citibank? or its common for all kinds of MC?
