I'm not. I'm only quoting what I paid just a week ago and Dubai Airport -> Dubai Marina/Jumeirah the Palm is one of the longer Airport-hotel journeys (since only very few book hotels in the most southern region of Dubai). It was just an example to give an idea...

Since no area was specified, I quoted the longest ride (25 miles), I ever took so far from Dubai airport. Since most hotels are located within that 25 miles radius, she'll know that, she won't be looking at more than 120/130 AED. That is unless she picks a hotel in the very south (around Palm Jebel Ali) and plans on driving into the desert.
